Give one or more reasons why you love PlayStation!

Even if you are a PC, Xbox or Nintendo guy, try to tell us something that you like or admire about Playstation.

Avoid baiting or backhanded compliments.

Love is too strong a word for anything gaming related but I do like Sony in regards to what they do with PlayStation. The main aspects are that they care about their console and console exclusive games and content which is what I care about.

The library of course.....Since PS1, Sony consoles have always had the best library every gen, from both 1st and 3rd party. FF7, FF8, FF9, Crash, Spyro, Gran Turismo, Silent Hill, Kingdom Hearts, Yakuza, Persona, Infamous, God of War, Uncharted, Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank, I can go on

I love what they used to be, now for me they're just another PC game distributor. I haven't found there to be anything really special about them since the PS3 or maybe even slightly before that.

The last time PlayStation really grabbed me was with PlayStation 2.

Love? No thanks. You can leave the 'love' shit to Phil Spencer cultists. I play on it because it has good exclusives. There's a laundry list of things I don't like, but they have the best product on offer in the market.

-Best 3rd party exclusive games
-Best UI/UX
-Best price/perf in hardware
-Best 1st party games
-Best accessory features e.g. dualsense vs xbox(fine i guess)/switch controller(horrible, need to buy separate controller to fix the godawful default one)

Things I dislike:
- Least consumer friendly refund policies
- Forced to pay for multiplayer on premium games
- Hardware often comes out and requires a lot of firmware updates for features...we don't have themes and a real folder system yet, VRR took a year to come out
- Would be willing to pay for better hardware specs; understandable why they don't have it though
- 1st party studios going through dev turmoil lately, concerning
- Controllers drift too goddamn much
