All the more evidence why porting current-gen games to PC IS value-destructive to PlayStation as a console platform. SIE had better wisen up and cut that initiative out. At most stick to GaaS and legacy collections of generations-old games (maybe with some QoL upgrades) for the PC platform. At least until they have their own launcher & storefront, but that won't even be needed for at least another 15 years.

You're just proving the point as to why the ports to PC make no business sense long-term. It isn't the bait to hook those players to console Shawn Layden wanted, if Jim Ryan created a cadence of expectations for all games to get ported, to a crowd with no FOMO in waiting for said ports (if they chose not to buy the console yet).
That's no longer offering a sample, it's giving the least-valued people barely in the ecosystem the VIP treatment in all but timing. Not a great message to send nor good for financials, just look at Xbox.
