Game Pass day 1, so will give it a go at the minimum whenever this comes out.

Hopefully whatever this game is, it has more difficulty accessible options. Not really a big fan of the crushing difficulty genre.

It's all trial and error but I get how these games can be off putting for casuals. We were all there once.

I really wish they went for Ninja Gaiden 4 instead, this is looking way too close to Dynasty warriors, more than Nioh tbh. Ninja Gaiden I'm guessing wasn't even a consideration.

The allusion to Chinese mythology and 3 kingdoms doesn't sit well with me. The best aspects of TN's games were Japanese, be it Nioh or Ninja Gaiden.

You put Koei-Tecmo and China together and I immediately think dynasty warriors.

I don't even want a souls-like from them anymore. Give us Ninja Gaiden 4 with Ryu Hayabusa. After what they did to DOA6 i'm really lacking faith in their direction moving forward.

And, WHERE THE HELL is Dead Or alive Xtreme 4?

Yeah, Nioh could be pretty brutal and then it was a massively long game too and kinda seemed a bit grindy as they would send you through the same level multiple times....

I did enjoy beating some of the bosses though.

I'm optimistic about Wo Long, unfortunately Team Ninja are technically really bad at optimizing and their graphics are not the best but the gameplay is usually great.

So far from the looks of it of what it borrows from Nioh: same engine (clearly), same style of cinematic animation and scene composition, similar character models (art direction), Oni(Demon) human transformation etc. Nioh vibes all over the place. Obviously they clearly wanted to spice it up and bring some change to revitilize interest instead of another sequel entry that sets on fatigue so it may be smart of them. Demon Souls - Dark Souls.

Xbox fans will finally get to play a Nioh game I guess.

As long as you don't mind a barebone PC port you should be fine.

Voted in-between. I'm not a souls guy so no interest personally but it does look good and should hold souls fans over until the next From Software game.

Thanks genius. I guess you are from the future, even if it barebone would still blow away the typical Console hardware cough 'PS5' Cough....
It's typical Team Ninja PC releases. You should know if you bought any of their Nioh games on PC or saw an actual performance comparison - apparently not your case. The PS5 version shall be pristine as first class citizen treatment comes into play. Expect to hear unique dualsense feautures and the like closer to launch. Not personal, just the way it more than likely will be, based both on past precedent, and current reality.

The fact that you probably won't have to wait a year is also a gift... cause something tells me this game as Nioh 3 was pitched and Sony didn't dish the cash out. Unlike the previous ones.

I sense much fear in you young padawan.

Looking forward to this.
Nioh Team is great, a game set in romance of the 3 kingdoms, that doesn’t play like dynasty warriors is what Im looking for
