Everybody is saying Xbox sales are going to tank even harder since the announcement of their exclusives going to PS5 but they don't keep the same energy for Sony PC ports.

In fact that is true. Xbox and PC has been an intertwined MS ecosystem from the start. Xbots didn't need to go for the one or the other as both has been supported but once they remove all the exclusivity of their console games by porting to a rival platform, the console became absolutely moot and they could stick with PC.Somehow PC ports have no impact on PS5 sales but they do for Xbox exclusives going elsewhere
PC ports have no impact on PS5 because Sony isn't porting their exclusive games to the rival console platform that is the Xbox, so PC become the ecosystem that xbots can also flock to, making Xbox even more obsolete in the market. And the way Sony ports to PC is nothing like how MS does it's entertwined ecosystem, PC may get some games much later, while some games aren't ported.

Maybe GTA6 can help boost ps5 console sales next year....but....with the continue pc port ps brand will slowly suffers the same fate with xbox

Your observation is on point tho, exclusives seems to matter against Xbox but not against PC. Even if people use the form factor as an excuse that won't last for long since PC is already showing up in handheld format and soon I expect a push for console like form factors.
Sales target that was very enthusiastic to begin with, and even with missing the target it's still on track to beat PS4 end of FY.
You can't put Sony in the same basket with MS, saying suffering same fate with Xbox when their PC ports policies are worlds apart.

It is mediocre.
It basically has no gameplay with some puzzles... you just walk and see the story.
It was touted as shining a light on some forms of mental illness, I think. Psicosis is one of them, so from that standpoint very useful in letting people understand the issues some people can have.
I also heard the game is extremely boring and combat relatively simple at its core.
I don't believe Microsoft will release all games or at least releases them in a near term.
They will probably do batches of 3-4 games each 4-6 months I guess.
But yeap all games are in the list.
I still strong believe there is at one more batch of 3-4 games to release in 2024.
This is a lot of mental gymnastics. By the end of the gen, the choice is easy for many people. Just get a PC and play the exclusives you missed. By the time you're done everything is already ported so you're basically having the same experience as a new PS5 user.
The 2-years window won't apply for future PS5 owner. We're at the halfway point, there's still 60 millions left to convince.
You see it in every topic about Xbox. There's no point in buying one because the exclusives are on PC, PS5 or Switch. Somehow that narrative doesn't fit with Sony, even if they have the most sought-after exclusives in the industry. Makes no sense

Yours is actually the one with lot of mental gymnastics because casuals won't ever think of all the things you've said and they won't suffer the process of getting a PC, keeping everything updated with correct drivers etc. just to play games. I'm on board with not making PC a more appealing platform, but we should be clear that it's currently shrinking/dying, sells the lowest share of multiplatform titles, and that Steam's userbase is plurality mandarin, and big in Russia. None of this points to success except in the same manner as 'engagement'. Xbox games are coming to PS4 and PS5, our games aren't going on Xbox, so they are still exclusives. Key point is time as you pointed out, in a year or two means they're second class gamers when it comes to Sony games no matter how the eye candy has been improved on the PC. And that in and of itself is another matter, so many PC builds do not have the horsepower to have the eye candy better than PS5 level, just look at the steam PC spec survey and you'll see that. At that point for casuals, PC gamers are second class citizens so to speak when it comes to Sony games both for the time aspect and graphics aspect. Only a few percentage of PC community can run with added graphical eye candy, and for that they will have to wait and hope the ported game is the one they wanted to play. A very big portion of 35 million you cited is running the games worse than PS4 level of graphics. So many courageous people with toasters as their eyes huh
