Xbox Game Pass continues to be a fantastic deal for Xbox users. We checked out how much every game added to the service in 2023 would have cost us to buy, and it's a lot more than we paid.

2023 has been a hell of a year for Xbox, as the company has finally started to see the fruits of all those studio acquisitions over the past few years. And nowhere has that been more obvious than in Xbox Game Pass, the gaming subscription service and crown jewel in Microsoft’s gaming portfolio.
But just how much value are you getting for your money with the service? After all, prices went up in August, and Phil Spencer has warned that future price increases are “inevitable”. Well we did the maths, and the value proposition is still looking pretty rosy as we move into 2024.

According to our data, the total value of all the games that were added to Game Pass (at their full price) in 2023 stands at:
  • $8763 in the US
  • £7695 in the UK
  • CA$11425 in Canada
  • A$13392 in Australia
  • €8879 in Europe
  • R$36898 in Brazil

That site went to shit. Compared that (and True Trophies sister site) to PSN profiles.... night and day.

Ridiculous. Now do the same exercise for PS+. Why are journalists not doing that?

What's the total if you add all the Blu-rays and dvd price of all the movies and TV shows on Netflix? How much are you saving?

Xbox fansite. Nothing to it.

So they do Gamepass numbers and then PS Plus ONLY number on the PS side?

Can't make this shit up. Both of these sites are owned by the same people so that's a bit fishy.
The thing is we know info is obfuscated or purposely twisted for one company but not another and stuff like this is the proof but ppl act oblivious like tht doesn't happen. We literally had the CMA files leak and all the grimey shit Microsoft does but ppl still act like "oh hell no they don't do tht".

They've did it last year, though

According to figures collated and calculated by TrueTrophies.com, the absolute total value of all games on PS Plus Premium is $17,095.20 for September 2022, a value increase of $435.87 over last month if you factor in the addition of titles like Deathloop and games like Red Dead Redemption 2 leaving.

Why do you post so much Xbox propaganda?

So, if you want, go to https://twitter.com/TrueTrophy account and tag TrueTrophy and ask to make a PS+ Premium value of added games for 2023. Just like they did it for 2022

Hate when they add up these prices same with ps plus alot if the games I wouldn't spend a penny on not to mention they go on sale frequently but they still use the the launch price when they're adding it up , you're only renting them with gamepass aswell it's not like you get to keep any of the games

Sounds like bullshit. When I last subscribed there were over 400 games, and the majority are AA/old/poor-sellimg games, many of which can be bought for chump change.

They had to put a number on it because they know in reality the majority of games on the service are of no interest to most gamers.

Starfield has the potential to make 700 million in sales.

Instead gamepass only made 140 million in subs during Starfield launch and spread that money across 900 games.

The math works guys!
