PC Sony has generated approximately $700 million from PC ports & releases on other platforms for the last fiscal year

That has nothing to do with what I said. You could have a 9090 on a console. It's still a closed system where you can't do as much. If you think the only reason people choose to play on PC is specs you are wrong.

PC Sony has generated approximately $700 million from PC ports & releases on other platforms for the last fiscal year

Unless there are flies that game on PC, why would a hardcore PC gamer would like to be pulled towards playstation or any console for that matter? As a PC gamer, once you have a good pc you typically just endure playing on a console and deal with its restrictions. After beating those handful of...

News Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut debuts with 57k+ concurrent users on Steam making it the 4th biggest Sony PC published game launch on the platform

Not sure. PC gamers are used to Denuvo now. As long as it gets removed after a couple of years it's fine.

PC Sony has generated approximately $700 million from PC ports & releases on other platforms for the last fiscal year

Yes. It used to be the case with the subset of users Sony is targeting by bringing their games to PC. Sony does not earn much money if a PC gamer buys a used console and 5 or 6 cheap games late on the lifecycle. They might as well buy them at a higher price on PC. Their failure was keeping...

Xbox Sarah Bond "Every First Party Xbox Game Will Launch Day One on Game Pass". |UP| Wall Street Journal says COD as well.

They should cancel gamepass. It only made sense with hundred millions of users. Just honour active subscriptions until they expire but don't let anyone sub again.

Playstation Sony president: PSN has 118M MAUs, half are on PS4. What does Sony need to do to bring them over to PS5?

Logic is not icon eras forte. For sure a cash strapped audience still on ps4 will build a PC for 800 USD at least and start from scratch in a new ecosystem instead of selling their old console + 300/350 USD to buy the new one while keeping all their games... They see the PC boogeyman everywhere.

Comparison Epic, GOG vs. Steam: the console war reimagined on the PC. Which is the best gaming store!

I just have all storefronts and emulators pinned in my taskbar. No big deal. Also gog galaxy is cool.

Playstation Sony president: PSN has 118M MAUs, half are on PS4. What does Sony need to do to bring them over to PS5?

The thing is, the PS4 is still a decent console for a lot of use cases. It has a big library of games, many can be found on the cheap and lots of the most popular online games can be played there. Lots of my friends are still on PS4. They mainly play online F2P, FIFA and the odd action adventure...

Discussion i don't think people understand the impact a game like GTA 6 will have on PS5 sales

GTA V was the perfect storm. You had a release at the tail end of the console generation,so around 160M/170M boxes that could play the game. First GTA truly designed for online play Then a next gen release After that PC. Where the game exploded on twitch thanks to RP servers and modding. It...

News UK government responds to Stop Killing Games campaign. There is "no requirement in UK law" preventing publishers from rendering older games unplayable

The crew had no business being an online only game. It had a very enjoyable single player campaign. Online gaming is bullshit.
