Psygnosis was making games for Amiga and 3DO. I'm sure fans on these dead, discontinued platforms were really mad when Sony bought Psygnosis for 40 millions

Bought for 20M in 1993. Kept releasing multiplts games for 7 years more till platforms were dead.

"my beloved company" is also losing games in existing multiplatform franchises like Silent Hill, Final Fantasy etc. I don't think I've seen anyone here shed a single tear about it, hell you have an abundance of posts and posters saying that they like it when that happens.

Bethesda is a first party Xbox studio now, the sooner you come to terms with the fact that their future IP will most likely be console exclusive, the sooner we can get past the need to make whiny threads like this years after the fact.

SM is also available on PS2 and PSP.

Also, Xbox wasn't around when either the FF or SH franchises first launched. Can't have history if the hardware wasn't even available lol.

But afterward multiple games in either franchise launched on both platforms, that's how history is made. Since then just about every numbered FF game has made its way to Xbox as well.

By your logic, Bethesda didn't get a name on consoles until Morrowind and Oblivion, which started on Xbox hardware. So it's only fitting it returns back home, exclusively.

People on both sides get upset when the other side gets an exclusive. I remember how much anger there was over timed stuff like Final Fantasy and Silent Hill. Those deals are how some like to justify multiple publisher buyouts. It is what it is.
