No one is going to whole management and shareholders to approve few exclusives and show. That's why they never had big 3rd party timed exclusives, that's why they will never moneyhat the industry.

They're having a showcase in the same venue as before, they're also committing to work with ESA for continuing E3. Literally nothing has changed from their previous shows before covid but because someone tweeted something vague, let's all shit/doom post about it as gospel.

Does that matter? We know they were big enough it's resulted in game cancellations at Coalition cause their staff was drastically cut. 343 are being reduced to a couple producers and janitors to oversee the work of other devs and Bethesda was gutted too
1. The Coalition (and Playground) had a total of <10 employees let go. 343 is where most of the gaming related lay-offs happened.
2. There is no official news on any cancelation, even the rumors say that they 'canceled' it because they moved straight to Gears 6 instead of needing to work on a smaller project to get their developers used to the new UE5 toolkit.
