I guess the 28 $ they earn from steamtards is more valuable than the 7-8k me and my brother together spend on the PSN store each year. I hope they find the audience and revenue they are looking for because from now on nintendo gets the money from me as being spineless is what I despise the most
Sony reverses position & will no longer require PSN account linking for Helldivers 2. Must take the right lessons from this fiasco.

Same here next generation I'm switching sides to Nintendo. Sony this gen has lost all of my respect.

They made quite a bit on helldivers 2, and if they wanted more like that in the future they had to bend the knee.
The suits already told you their plan, it's on you if you keep putting your hands over your ears.
Playstation is going to PC, and they want all the moneys. Maybe if the console people were able to band together like the Helldivers players did and make a mass protest to Sony, then they wouldn't be porting more games to PC. But only a few gamers care.
For anyone worried about the review percentage: It seems to be going back up, the user Pirate Software (Thor) said he won't change his until they relist the game in the countries they delisted the game in.

They need to enforce it from the start for multiplayer games ( any game that has a multiplayer mode available, not just multiplayer only games). Don't like it? Don't buy it.
Hopefully this starts the pushback against multiple Sign ins. Unfortunately, I think the industry shills have been deployed to attack the wrong areas, making it look like PC gamers are attacking Helldivers 1, when in reality it's a paid distraction to kill the movement before the push back aims at other companies and their sign ins.

HD2 is the first release that actually makes a noticeable revenue number in its opening quarter.
All other PC releases(ports) look great from a Return on Investment standpoint(ports are cheap) but are not noticeable in terms of absolute numbers.

They shouldn't have made it optional because of the initial server issues. That's what they get for, for putting PC gamers first.
But they didn't care for PS people with server issues BECAUSE of PC players, all the while getting their PS+ sub money.
Exactly, and even tho HD2 did well on PC, it generated some of the worst gaming controversy in a long time and has the most negative reviews in Steam history.
I believe they put their business first: selling the game to a huge amount of people.
They made it optional so their servers could handle the insane amount of players, to whom they sold the game. They have a product to sell.
I’m not oblivious to their plan, but if their plan is for the PC audience to be the one they cater to first then this just heralds a new era of arrogant Sony.
Maybe we should learn from PC players and boycott Sony charging for online.
