Around 23% of PC players won’t be able to play Alan Wake 2

I would probably be able to run it a bit better on my pc than on ps5 but:
-hate epic store
-10gb of vram on a 3080 will 100% be a headache here
-PS5 got freaking dualsense. I want to feel that fleslight triggering and rain on my buttocks.
-I can already feel it will be one of those "I've tested settings for 3 hours, now it's too late to start playing" pc games.

So yeah. Ps5 is must be. No physical is a big shame though.
I've recently been thinking again and again... what if ps6/7/8 whatever don't have a disc drive and by that point, I will want to be purchasing games digitally but old titles will be delisted and not sold anymore. I would miss my chance just like with driveclub. Instead of "eternally" having it on my account.
But then - I don't like the feeling of games connected to account I have no control over. I can get banned, hacked or whatever. Game can be updated in a way I dont like and without a disc, I am not reverting to 1.0.
One good thing about digital on ps5 is that it always gives you ps4 version too. That would've been useful last year when I got my ps5 elden ring disc.

Anyway - What version are you getting? standard or deluxe ?

The PC version actually has full dual sense support.

pc versions never have full dualsense support.
It's weaker even when you are connected with the usb cable and missing some layers of haptics.
Besides - I will sooner die before I play wired

I don't understand the appeal of PC gaming anymore tbh, unless you have thousands to burn on gaming which honestly is absurd. Then they build this massively overpriced machine only to spend the day complaining about performance issues. They don't even enjoy the games, they just enjoy seeing what the computer can run.

I think there is a lot of one-up-man-ship about it, as in look at me and look what I've got.

I mean in many ways if you are going to spend thousands of cash on a PC you have to show it off.

Of course, it's not everyone, but it feels like the same shit @riky and co spouted on Gaf, your not having fun if you're not using VVR, etc logic.

Then when PlayStation suddenly got it, you never heard that argument again.

I wonder what they're compensating.
