Hopefully it grows in these next few years. It deserves it.
Would be useful to Sony to advertise longer than 5 minutes for it. Look how Nintendo does it in Japan, in cities theres always Nintendo advertisement somewhere lol

1.5M in nine weeks is not bad at all for a platformer like this one, IMO. There will be a sales tail on this game, and they'll also pick up some healthy sales down the line when it ports to PC and other systems.

I hope it wins game of the year, It Takes Two got a massive boost due to winning and Astro Bot deserves it 1000%

It sold more than Ratchet and Clank Rift apart did in the same timeframe. If Studios Asobi is not projecting a sequel , it isn't certainly for a monetary reason

I expect a sequel, but I also hope they venture into new areas and grow as a studio. It why I wish they would absorb Level-5 and make Sony's version of Zelda. Dark Cloud came out a bit too early I think and Sony didn't stick with things long enough.

Pretty good in of itself but horrible ratio. 65m PS5 consoles sold and only 1.5m of those who own one showed up? That's so disappointing and a shame. Astro Bot is an excellent game and a joy to play. SMH

There's one console manufacturer in history where the ratio is consistently high and that's because they serve a boring, bland, and monolithic audience.

30 - 60 developers working on a game for 6 years and only selling 1.5 million is not the home run many of you wanted it to be. This studio isn't out of the woods yet.

I agree, I think 1.5M is very respectable for a production like this, especially over a nine week period as a console exclusive.

I'm sure it will have a healthy sales life over time as well.
