Bethesda responding to negative Starfield reviews on Steam - "it's not boring", it's "by design"

This title is just a continuation of the bad patch Zenimax as a whole has been in for several years... mediocre games or dud games. Reason why they sold out. I still believe, strongly that they have some great talent there and will eventually pull out great games that will serve Microsoft long term. Dancing on their grave sort of speak is fine now for PS fans but..... the crying will eventually come too. All is fair tho...

I mean according to meta Starfeild is a gd game in its own right just not the savior ppl expected. It's a common theme with the overhyping and underdelivering of some companies and/or fans.

Yup I've been saying the same about Halo too. You cant live off your old rep and innovation forever, eventually others begin to do things better and innovate themselves and if you stay stagnant your done.

when you a read response like this from devs it is weird. doesn't matter how many valid hours you have to determine how bad the padding and filler content is. a game is a game. feels like you are being gaslit to believe you're playing the game wrong how many ng+ do i need to feel the experience is different lol

This attitude is why Bethesda games have failed to improve over the years. Fallout 76 really showcased that way of thinking too.
