Bethesda is the Andy Kauffman of game devs. The entertainment value comes from Starfield refusing to be entertaining!

I remember going to a theater to see some experimental show made to "not entertain" in order to question the nature of entertainment... blah blah blah.

Well, these artists were very serious about not entertaining us, they walked around the stage doing various really boring things for an hour and a half, even the crowd that was there the hipsters of the hipsters was showing signs of being out of patience... But where they were better than Bethesda is that the last 3 minutes or so was like some kind of heavily condensed circus show with a tons of tricks, that woke me up for the drive home.

There is no upside to Starfield.
