We did It Sony bros. Concord beaten. Outstanding success.

3k will be the max. Many people are buying to review-bomb and refund it (63% rating).

Sony are not welcomed on PC but they refuse to listen.

They want Sony games without Sony.

The Entitled PC Bunch. No buy your console, No PS Plus and No PSN Account.

But we want you to treat us exactly like Playstation gamers. Day 1 releases.

Here’s hoping Sony will eventually realise PC is a NO-GO.

Honestly as controversial as this sounds, Sony would be better off releasing their games on rival consoles.

That is saying something.

This is the new PlayStation direction.
Clearly, they have lost connection with their audience.

PlayStation under Shawn Layden had banger after banger. Just before PS5, we had God of War, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, and Final Fantasy VII Remake, etc.

There was at least one big showcase each year, with a lot of creativity, featuring both smaller and bigger games.

That PlayStation seems to be gone.

Shawn Layden is the reason why Sony started the PC push. He admitted it himself. He was the first to talk about PC Ports as early as 2018.

Andrew House and Shuhei Yoshida did a better job.

If this is going to be the Until Dawn CCU thread/celebration we need a title change for the Twitter bot.

I vote for

"Another PC flop: Until Dawn underperforms on Steam with 2k CCU at launch. Hermen flees the country" 😏

This is a fine addition to the PC catalogue albeit non essential. Playstation cements it's place as one of the greatest third parties on PC.

How come it's #66 in top sellers in PSN for the US while it's #10 on Steam? I thought Playstation nation buys games?
It's on PC nobody is going to buy it again on PlayStation.

It was made so they could make a PC version, the whole budget was on the PC version. The PS version is just extra money for the PS port. They already recoup the cost for that according to the port experts here so the PS sales are irrelevant 🤷

Good point, but still. His environment wanted not only that but more. As a leader, you have to give and take.

But when he started to push back on those ideas, Shawn was pushed out for trying to conserve the PlayStation way of finding talent and growing them slowly, and finding niches that other publishers left open versus going all out on GaaS, and buying studios that haven't even created a single game.

You could fault him for x or y. But he pushed back because he did see what would happen and as thank you for that foresight he got fired. I think Jim Ryan, after he won that battle, also didn't have a clue how to go forward. So he retired, thus leaving PlayStation in the mess they are currently in.

Concord should've been released, and now this bomba with until dawn...

Everytime someone contradicts your ridiculous posts you constantly shift goalposts, at least stick to your guns for once.

I don't even know you. Did you change your name or something?

I'm just following the logic of the pro-PC ports that continuosly say the ports are extra money because the whole budget was paid by the main platform. The main platform in this case is PC, it's the only reason why the remake was made at all and it's Day 1 on PC.

Do You work at SIE or Ballistic Moon? How do you know what the main platform was? All you do is talk about how PC is a useless platform and that Sony is ruining their brand doing these releases yet clearly it's working because they still do them.

Until Dawn is currently at 1268 CCU all time high.

To put things into perspective these are what other Supermassive games did on Steam.

The Quarry - 6349

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope - 4997

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan - 4518

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes - 4578

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me - 3599

As of now Until Dawn (a 10 years old game that has been included in PS+), not released in PC day one when being new like these ones, is at 2,572, which is the highest until now (may get higher later or during the weekend).

Developers?
Yes, pretty likely.

Use logic.

Yes, pretty likely.
The game is not 10 years old. Full remake, new release came out today October 4th 2024. Supermassive already got paid 10 years ago, this is new.

Don't try to be sneaky. Silent Hill 2 is coming out next week from Bloober. Is that the same game from Team Silent 20 years ago? No, so don't play dumb with Until Dawn. It's a flop.
