We don't know the revenue, strategy, nor sustainability on pc. But okay you do you i guess.

Playstation has always been deliver or get out. That is part of their identity from the beginning, and it brought us Mark Cerny.

Only one company is laying of crazy, currently the count in the last few years 4 or 5, with more on the way.
What does all of that even mean?

That you're not the brightest.
Lol. Sony closing down 2 studios yesterday got you PlayStation fans losing your minds.
I really hope English isn't your first language seeing how you can't make a coherent sentence.

Oh and let's see that actual revenue from those sales. last year Steam had a revenue of 9 billion, compared to 30 on PS alone.

So much astroturfers around, cosplaying as PC players. Used to be that fanboys talked about games, not bring up out of context data.
In the spirit of Halloween, what does PC gamer cosplay look like? Can you provide any descriptions which might aid in costume design?

PC gaming lives rent free on this place. The butthurt is immense since March 2020.
I’m not even a PC guy but this is painfully true. Don’t act like your above it, you clearly like to fan the flames and exacerbate their inferiority complex lmao.

Ahh, astroturfing. A "new" account coming out of the woodwork to post something like this. Except, we're missing one little detail.

Capcom has previously stated that the vast majority of their legacy titles sell on PC. makes sense, since people won't be using their PS3s/360s any more.

Now, let's see the actual splits by game. This is PC skewed because a lot of games sold aren't available on current gen consoles and certainly not bundled for a few bucks.
Forums and social media is litered with them.

The, buy a PC crowd MS is paying for, are also here. They cant come and scream it. Disingenuous kh@bs

I like gaming on PC, but I don't think console gamers have to swap systems. People can like consoles for any number of reasons from cost, to positive brand association. As long as they're happy, and can game the way they want, that's all that matters! :)

Convenience is what make people like consoles.

Play games on PC is not the same experience than play games on consoles.
Since place, position (I know people can put a PC like a console in the living room but most uses the PC for work tasks that are tied to a desk and chair) until the easy to use without addictions steps.

Even the devices attached to use in a living room works different from the ones attached to use in a PC.
TVs and monitors are different since how they deal with the input signal, passing by the interface and assists, until how they display the image on screen.
You can use a monitor as a TV? Yes, but you will have to deal with several issues and incompatibilities and even so the image will not be like TV (a monitor needs a PC signal to shows everything it can... it doesn't work well with a direct video signal like console, cable box, etc.... in simple terms you need a PC to do the post processing while the TV do everything to you).

The same way you don't use a monitor in a living room.
You don't use a PC in a living room.

Unless you don't care about convenience and like to deal with all the issues you will have with that setup.

And before people say but Steam Deck with Steam OS is like a console... it is not... the amount of issues you will have with Steam Deck with games, or setup it with your TV, is something you don't find in a console.
TV, console, soundbar/home are all connected by the same standards.

I'm responding to this not to contradict your assertion as a whole, but more specifically because the subject "you" (me) that you're applying these principles to are not accurate.

My primary gaming monitor, the one I have plugged into my gaming tower, is a LG 55" C Series OLED Smart TV. It's what I'm looking at, while typing this message.

The same way you don't use a monitor in a living room.

I have a similar setup in my living room, with a PC connected to a Smart TV. I also have a monitor in my living room, but that serves more as a backup/relic. My basement setup is also PC to TV.

Monster Hunter Wilds beta on Steam peaked at almost half a million

To people who think Monster Hunter isn't gonna do well on PC compared to Consoles might want to think again

While we don't have PS5 numbers. How embarrassing would it be if Steam numbers out performed PlayStation 5 numbers despite the PS5 beta coming to PS5 first. (I wonder if Sony actually paid for the early beta exclusivity?)

Also remember, The Monster Hunter Wilds Beta hit 457,000 within 1 hour of release

How humiliating would it be for Capcom PC stans if the free beta on a platform with 100+ million players, mainly in Asia, was outperformed by a PS+ exclusive beta?

Very.
