After all the talk about Xbox selling like crazy (even comments from Mat), I was expecting it to be higher. There's still a huge difference between PS5 and Xbox. The +48% is meaningless because it was so low last year.
Helldivers lost the number 1 spot for the year but CF25 is full price + expensive editions and the chart is by revenue.

Xbox didn't do complete shit, so he will share numbers.
Once we are back to the normal and xbox sales are back down the gutter, he won't share them anymore.
Extremely healthy numbers for PS5 and it seems they also benefited from the EA boost. North America has really been pulling it's weight this generation for Sony, it's been fun to see the pendulum swing from Europe to North America this generation for them.

Delighted that others are enjoying it. The amount of game time for me has rocketed this year.
It also got me to platinum Knack & Knack 2. Hot take, we'd have more Knack games if the quality of Knack 2 was the first game.

Where was I wrong? I insuated College Football 25 was giving Xbox a huge boon, and I was right, they would've been under 200k and in 3rd place for July if not for that game.

Correct, but it helped Xbox a lot, you can tell those people are old farts who haven't gamed in a decade plus. 360 era people.
It's more accurate to say the YOY increase for both consoles were nearly the same, the difference is within 5K. PS5 also had a one week $50 price cut at the end of July which sold a lot.
Not saying without the price cut Xbox would've sold more. Just adding context.

No matter what any PC user try to excuse... Steam Deck is niche... very niche... it sells less than VR devices that are well a niche market.

Stock was severely scarce aswell during the launch and holiday period as well as the first few months of this year.
Yeah the Steam Deck is a nice piece of hardware, but some people hype it up like it hasn't sold only a few million units
