I see it that way too. It's certainly no coincidence that the usual suspects are particularly loud again for the Spider-Man 2 release. I'm just surprised that no Bloomberg article has appeared yet. It will definitely come when Sony publishes its business figures.
I now avoid forums and social media more and more. When I was young, I bought video game magazines and then the games that I liked. Today we no longer primarily talk about games but rather just the people behind them. This now reminds me of fans of sports clubs who only discuss players and those responsible at every game of their team instead of seeing sport as entertainment. It's no wonder that more and more developers and those responsible are withdrawing. In the old NeoGaf days, many people from the industry still wrote there. Today it would be unthinkable.

What good news are you expecting exactly? The problem here is that we keep having these shifting goalposts with which to shit on Playstation. There's no indication that the loss of Connie Booth is a Bad Thing(TM), we only have the usual suspects seizing on every single whiff of potential FUD to try to take away from PS's current dominance. We can guess why that is.
Every single year since the PS5 launch we have had at least one GotY contender game from PS first party studios. What are you expecting exactly? You think that suddenly that's going to vaporize because an executive producer leaves?

Sony need to acquire some major ips themselves. Naughty dog is basically MIA this generation so that just leaves ssm and insomniac to carry all the weight. Square is now looking to go multiplatform so scratch final fantasy off the list. Sega is essentially in Ms pocket now plus the 2 other publishers they bought.
What I’m saying is Sony has a good foundation but they’re one Microsoft acquisition of a Japanese publisher away getting walkmanned in my opinion and they don’t seem to care. Gaas isn’t what made them what they are and it’s going to backfire.
