Way better how? No one is answering my specific question. Is the presentation, animation, environments? If so, that's all artistic direction not a technical advantage.

Miles Morales has Ray Tracing. GoW Ragnarok hasn't. Zero Dawn leverages planar reflections in an open world, something GoW is uncapable of and instead relies on Screen Space Reflections. Two technical advantages that open world games can leverage and GoW can't.

They look better because...
1.We can see.
2. We own PS5's and have played the mentioned games 1st hand.

The RT in MM is limited to reflections.. and low quality at that. I very seriously doubt that reflections is going to make such a difference in visuals for you to make the claim that MM looks better because of RT reflections. GoW:R has directional ambient occlusion (which is expensive) and MM doesn't. I'd rather have HDAO than the low-quality RT reflections on the buildings/cars. And I would hope that you are knowledgable enough to know how important HDAO is to a game's lighting.

The planar reflections in an open world means very little if it's limited by only certain objects having them (i.e. ponds and rivers). GoW isn't open world to begin with by design. You mention the word "can't" as if the developer told you they couldn't implement RT reflections because GoW was rooted in the PS4. Have they ever told you they can't? Or are you inferring it based on the fact that they aren't in the game and assuming?

So all you can muster up is reflections? So basically GoW:R is based around the PS4 because it doesn't have RT/planar reflections and therefore you can "see" the difference? Wow.

Damn, you can't reply without being dishonest as fuck. You set up a metric, people reply with a metric, you then move the goalpost to suit your narrative. Go enjoy GoW at 800p 30fps while crying that consoles can't do 4k60 and therefore suck.
