Sounds more like someone had a falling out or isn't getting paid anymore. Xbox is honestly getting slammed this year by everyone and they deserve it.They’re experts on the matter, and it took them almost three years to figure it out?

Efficiency>Raw PowerAnybody that knows a bit about hardware GPU could had guessed that in early 2020.
Cerny took his job with PS4 and focused in efficiency trying to minimize all bottlenecks.
MS used the same copy job from Xbox One X (copy of PS4 design) and invested in raw power... Series X is just the PS4 design boasted to higher TFs with a weird memory bus setup (yeap MS is not good at copy... they had to fuck something).
The results is no surprise since the two console launched.
But Xbots believed it was the Tools.
Man is a genius, and I don‘t throw that word around to anyone.Even more impressive, he has no degree at all. He dropped out of college
Xbots know about that, they tried to use this argument with the xbone vs PS4. Obviously they were wrong to oversell their argument back then (DF sold Microsoft's argument as well).Efficiency>Raw Power
Who put this absolute moron in charge
Holy smokes! Talk about being clueless.
Nah, Leadbetter’s SEGA fanboy delusions will keep him bashing Sony forever.Time for Microsoft to cut another check or Digital Foundry will start telling the truth.
AMD GPUs always have a big issues... big numbers (TFs included) but low efficiency.Efficiency>Raw Power
Xbox One and PS4 efficiency were very similar... so a lower RAW Power will only show how weak a machine is compared with the other.Xbots know about that, they tried to use this argument with the xbone vs PS4. So, while not wrong, an efficient architecture will only take you so far, and raw power won't go anywhere without that well balanced architecture.
I don't think they meant power efficiency, they meant that the 32MB RDRAM (or whatever) was going to make the xbone more powerful than the PS4 because it was faster than its unified memory pool. That was because they would use something similar akin to sampler feedback to only charge the necessary ressources in there.Xbox One and PS4 efficiency were very similar... so a lower RAW Power will only show how weak a machine is compared with the other.
To be fair I have the feeling the Series X is very non-efficient even compared with AMD RDNA2 GPUs of similar RAW Power.
It doesn't perform like a 12TFs GPUs that means it has more bottlenecks that most people believes.
While PS5 is the opposite... performs better than similar RDNA2 at the similar RAW Power.
I think in both hardware (awkward split memory setup) and software (that unified GDK) is a big harm for MS.
No chip supplier only makes one chip, so it’s hardly half as funny as you seem to think.Hilarious to think that both console has a same chip vendor. LOL
On the surface the surface is a good product. It is like comparing Surface to Macbook
