Is it system level or does every game need to apply it though?

Eg does it work.on older games

Yeah I don't see Sony not improving it in the next 4 years... So agreed and I think it'll be even better on the PS6 etc.
Yeah it will be improved, in one of their leaked documents they mentioned their future ambitions for pssr. Can't remember if it was mlid or tom Henderson who showed the doc.

Reason why pc dudes are big rattled is because ai upscaling has been huge for pc gaming probably the biggest innovation in the last few years. Now playstation will have its own.

Hmm yeah I think I've seen that document as well! 👀

And yes probably... And if done right so will this be another good thing the PlayStation consoles will have besides the nice stuff Sony usually adds every time a new PlayStation consoles is released whether it's the regular or Pro version of it.

PS6 will probably have more AI driven features too. AI upscaling will be perfected by end of PS5 pro cycle.
I can see that happening as I've watched videos about the PS6 indeed having more AI features besides been the most powerful console of its generation and so far having 32 GB's of RAM. Still 4 years left but I am already excited about what it'll be able to do! 👀

I think people can ask better questions.
of course but people who pay for DF patreon are morons. I will answer all those questions without watching the video.
1)yes
2)Yes
3)it will be fucking 2027 or whatever. Loaf of bread will be 700$ then
4)No. PSSR uses an addon chip. When will people learn. It's not software based only.
5)Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. Frame gen sucks anyway
6)Yes but only stupid ones
7)It will be sold out in 1 minute after opening pre-orders. What are they smoking
8)bloodborne

This thread on RERA just shows how AI upscalers ( like DLSS, XeSS and PSSR) is badly understood. It is totally mental. Oh shit, internal resolution low. It is dead.:/

They understood how DLSS works, but, somehow, the subject matter became inexplicably difficult to understand on 9/10.
