Game topped at 77.5k concurrent players today.

Dragon's Dogma 2 topped at 225k and it sold 3 million across all platforms.
This one seems to have topped at one third, so maybe ~1 million sales is a good guess for it.

If that's the case then

i dont want to live on this planet anymore GIF

I don't know who the fuck this game is made for. If there are genuinely 65000 people that want to play a game with top surgery scars in a character creator and a lecture on how to apologise to non-binary people in a fantasy game then I'll never spend a penny on gaming again.

This will be my breaking point.
It's most likely done over 65000 with other platforms combined.

Seems like you've reached your breaking point.

What are your next steps?

I'm going to start walking and reading more, not at the same time, and pick up a new hobby. There's a range near me so I'll probably start shooting.

So i ve checked the ending and it was bad

Ending : the grey warden gets wiped out

Seems like game director know everyone wants to be grey warden so he decided to wipe them out, destroying any remaining hope left.

He wants to rewrite entire lore. Clean slate. The next dragon game after this ( if theres any) will be entirely diferent game. It will be dragon age in name only.

The least you can do is not insult people.

The least you can do is not a be cunt and spoiler tag the ending. There is a member here playing it and also active in threads regarding the game here.

There's six endings. That's only briefly one of them that doesn't explain the lore past, present and future.

Nothing is spoiled, don't worry.

Spoilers have been marked as such. Please don't spoil it for those who are still playing this game, regardless of how disappointed you feel about it

3 days later it's below the 15 month-old Baldur's Gate 3.

At best, this sold like 600k copies on Steam. I'm not sure how much more it sold on the PS5. Even if it was twice as much, we're looking at 1.8 million copies total at most and perhaps a lot less.

Even taking this best-case scenario, 1.8 million copies at $60 each means $108M revenue pre-distribution. After 30% distribution it's $75.6M. Perhaps a bit more if a substantial amount of people bought the game through the EA/Origin app, but I honestly doubt they did.
After 10 years in dev hell, this thing cost a whole lot more than $75M to make. It probably cost twice as much.

Unless EA will be willing to torch money like a flamethrower in a library to keep up the façade of telling everyone this game is a massive success (which costs further money to pay up all the gaming journalists), I don't see Bioware surviving this.
