No, that's breath of the wild. Elden ring is an actually good game, but it is mildly overrated.
Graphics worse, visual design worse, music worse, technical performance worse, writing worse, combat worse, story worse, weapons worse, no multiplayer, enemy variety worse, no voice acting, exploration worse, the only thing botw has on elden ring is some mild environmental physics, which can be had in any number of other games that aren't glazed due to being nintendo
Botw can't hold the jock strap of elden ring lol and elden ring isn't even the best fromsoft game
Thinking of buying elden ring , the trailers for it look epic but I hate how difficult souls games are

Elden Ring is only difficult if you want to platinum and elden beast being an endurance check otherwise its pretty easy as demon souls.
How? Just need to be careful on the missable quests/NPCs, but that's something true to most Souls games.
I disagree. At least ER has a non-useless combat system, proper boss fights and exploring the over bloated, boring open-world SOMETIMES leads to some rewards.

I was talking more about how malenia, mohg, placidusax, malekith, fire giant would be difficult for him considering he dislikes souls difficulty. Fire giant is especially hard for souls newbies and it is compulsory
If I pre order the shadow of the erd tree edition of elden ring will I get instant access to the base game ?
Game of the Year =/= Downloadable Content of the year. I'm not sure why I'm even spelling this.
Thats pretty much what ER is, half the content in the game is just stuff scrapped from dark souls 3
and the environments somehow look worse 6 years later.

Nah, it was good. Good enough to beat my depression for 110 hours
Because it's not a game you can buy by itself it is literally additional content for an actual game
