It'll be continual downhill for them period. COD even though a strong IP will change for the worse abd Thyll bring it down with them too.

Hellblade 2 didn't make top 100 and there's no widespread outrage about making the sequel exclusive. Imagine if a PS-exclusive didn't make top 100, the internet would be shutdown with all the articles about it 
Nice to see GoT and Helldivers 2 up there. They deserve it, are great games.
There are several reason for that imo.
System Shock: A remake nobody instead a very niche fans asked.
Hellblade 2: A sequel for a bad game that is even worst than original released in a platform that doesn't buy games.
Rogue Prince of Persia: Who asked a roguelike Pince of Persia?
I'm not sure why people are surprised these games didn't enter TOP 100.
Wonder if xbox will even bother porting Hellblade 2 elsewhere, i never saw the hype around it and it looks like it sold maybe 20,000 copies something. Tango made great games and was a presence in Japan with a game ever 3 years. Should’ve kept them and buried Ninja Theory which is surely coming up rather than spend 6-7 years of development cost
I mean they should had done that before release alredy.
But what about "creative"? These are very basic marketing plans.

It's been a month since Hellblade 2's release and Xbox hasn't made a post about Hellblade 2 cumulative players. Those numbers must be much worse than they anticipated.
Biggest bomba of the year after all the fake hype. Clown Dring didn't compare the sales with Hellblade 1, he does that with every release even when they are not direct sequels. Not this time. A small line on twitter and that's it.
The usual comments on Twitter.
"It's on Game Pass."
"There was no physical release."

Even indie PS5 console exclusive, Pacific Drive debut at 17 back in February. I barely see PS fan mention that game. Xbox fan talk about Hellblade 2 all time.

It’s worth noting hellblade 2 received an inordinate amount of marketing. It debuted with the reveal of the Xbox series X at the game awards, was at the game awards for a second gameplay trailer, was at multiple e3 showcases, and had all the Xbox shill influencer media hyping it for years. We need to stop with the “it didn’t receive enough marketing” trope. All of that media combined probably equals hundreds of millions in terms of paid advertising. It flopped because it was an Xbox exclusive, nothing more and nothing less.
Will the media talk about this ("hust" FF7R "hust") or will remain silent?
