Forced PC crossplay with Consoles has ruined online gaming

Can't compare a top 3 FG in popularity vs an extremely niche one. There are niche fighting games that are basically sent to die without crossplay and good rollback netcode. Maybe its not that noticeable in Japan as I expect those games to be more popular there but in the rest of the world, crossplay sure does help.

Pretty terrible comparison

I have no trouble playing Tekken 7 and and SFV on PC. Find matches all the time while on training mode. Don't have FighterZ but I am assuming its going to be pretty popular as its a DBZ game. Smash is a console only game so can't be compared vs PC (best version of Melee is on PC anyway). Nothing to say about Naruto since I don't have that game, should be the least popular of the bunch.

Crossplay is one of the worst things to happen to gaming. All because of MS’s bitch ass and their marketed attack on Sony with it.

Having the option to turn it off doesn’t really help either. All that does is make the player amount smaller since there would still be people who have it on. You’ll only only be playing with people who have it off.

Sony has always done crossplay, but that was only with FF online and a few other select games.
