No game benefits from mouse and keyboard over a good controller, except RTS and god games.DF did a follow up on Forspoken in their latest DF Direct.
Segment timestamped.
- The level of detail in the world is fine, but the lighting is low quality and makes everything look flat.
- They still say that FFXV's lighting looks better than what's in this game
- Quality mode has drops as low as 18 FPS, using DRS and as a console exclusive game, which they found baffling
- Witcher 3 "looks a lot better" - John
- They're still working on a PC version specific video. They say it's good in some areas and also pretty bad in others
- On PC there is a DRS option that doesn't work with any of the upscale options like FSR or DLSS
- RTAO in the game is broken or only applies in some select cut-scenes and nowhere else. It effects performance but has no visual change
- RT does not apply to foliage, characters, shadows. They're perplexed by why it's even there
- They say the game play in this game benefits from playing on mouse + keyboard more than a controller
- DF also acknowledge this game loading much faster and removing stutters by moving the game on an NvME SSD drive thanks to direct storage.
I killed the first Tanta and I think the fire magic should have been the default magic in the beginning (it wouldn't work story-wise but I don't know...make up something).
That sales split for Dead Space remake is just horrific for this point in a generation.looks like it sold good.
That sales split is also just for UK boxed retail, a region where Xbox tends to have 80 : 20 digital to physical tie-in.
We all know that already
70/30 on consoles.And PlayStation doesn't?
It's actually 90% across ALL platforms.

That's not what I'm talking about. ~85% of Xbox version sales in UK, using Elden Ring as an example, are digital. Versus 50% on PS.
Using the 80 : 20 split for physical only to blow faux concern horns is inaccurate. Not that I expect it to stop here.
