doesn't look as good as yours...
I am using:
-Game optimizer mode
-PC input label for ps5 (dont make a difference I am sure)
-Warm50 white temp
-HGIG
-Sharpening to 0
All brightness, contrast and so on are defaults for hdr mode

DF did a follow up on Forspoken in their latest DF Direct.

Segment timestamped.

- The level of detail in the world is fine, but the lighting is low quality and makes everything look flat.
- They still say that FFXV's lighting looks better than what's in this game
- Quality mode has drops as low as 18 FPS, using DRS and as a console exclusive game, which they found baffling
- Witcher 3 "looks a lot better" - John

- They're still working on a PC version specific video. They say it's good in some areas and also pretty bad in others
- On PC there is a DRS option that doesn't work with any of the upscale options like FSR or DLSS
- RTAO in the game is broken or only applies in some select cut-scenes and nowhere else. It effects performance but has no visual change
- RT does not apply to foliage, characters, shadows. They're perplexed by why it's even there

- They say the game play in this game benefits from playing on mouse + keyboard more than a controller
- DF also acknowledge this game loading much faster and removing stutters by moving the game on an NvME SSD drive thanks to direct storage.

No game benefits from mouse and keyboard over a good controller, except RTS and god games.

I killed the first Tanta and I think the fire magic should have been the default magic in the beginning (it wouldn't work story-wise but I don't know...make up something).

I spent way too many time in the open-world throwing rocks until I got fire magic. The parkour and traversal is also so much better with the fire.

I bet reviews would be better too.

That sales split is also just for UK boxed retail, a region where Xbox tends to have 80 : 20 digital to physical tie-in.

We all know that already

horrible numbers for xbox, they should just go ahead and make the next one PS5 exclusive.

can't imagine what a silent hill title would look like. 99:1?

Horror games just don't work on Xbox, much like JRPGs.

And PlayStation doesn't?

It's actually 90% across ALL platforms.

That's not what I'm talking about. ~85% of Xbox version sales in UK, using Elden Ring as an example, are digital. Versus 50% on PS.

Using the 80 : 20 split for physical only to blow faux concern horns is inaccurate. Not that I expect it to stop here. 👍

U.K is a really weak market for xbox this gen, and the digital ratio is probably on par.

it's going to be interesting to see what happens to xbox in the region moving forward.

seems like it's not going too well. I mean obviously not japan bad, but still really, really bad in the U.K.

some of these splits we're seeing, maaaan. dead space at 20 is high for xbox. I remember seeing some games at like 95:5.

It will be the same story on digital sales. Why use 1 game as an example.

Most Playstation sales are digital too. What makes you think Xbox will fare better?

We all know these games sell better on PS. GP has further widened the gap.

Almost 90% of games sold in UK in 2022 were digital - ERA
