After getting a Steam Deck, I can see the value of this. The "you need a second device to even use it" is fair, but it's an addition to PS and a welcome one. Having flexibility to play your game while not sitting on the couch is wonderful, don't underestimate the utility. I streamed some FF16 from PS5 to Steam Deck and it's great. Yes, having this be a fully fledged device in of itself is preferable (a Vita 2 would have been great) but there is still a usecase here for those who want that flexibility for their PS5 but don't want to spend much more on another device like Steam Deck. Seems a little overpriced imo but hard to tell with post-COVID pricing adjustments whether it is "fair" based on actual costs. Likely a little too high if I was interested in buying one, but I think the doom and gloom is a little overdone.
