You can see all uncapped modes uses VRR.why the hell are uncapped fps a thing , it is the worst thing ever
it changes the game speed and flow of the game and messes with the controls/timingYou can see all uncapped modes uses VRR.
I agree you should not need VRR at all.it changes the game speed and flow of the game and messes with the controls/timing
VRR is usefull i admit but framrates should not be erratic
It is good, no more locked, they learning from PS4 Gen where they released Pro. Imagine they will release Pro model capable of going 60 or more fps without any patches? You know how it was nice to have RDR2 unlocked? Or any other game?why the hell are uncapped fps a thing , it is the worst thing ever
no , i dont agree , locked fps for life , be it 30 or 40 or 60 or 120.It is good, no more locked, they learning from PS4 Gen where they released Pro. They are offering both choices for you. No need to complain. Unlocked fps will be worth it once next gen hardware releases.no , i dont agree , locked fps for life , be it 30 or 40 or 60 or 120.
LOD, reflections, shadows and AO are toned down.Unlocked 40 FPS for me, probably. Will have a look if there is anything toned down from fidelity.
LOD and shadows are toned down.
Added reflections and AO… thanks. And reflections, per El Analista de Bits. I need to check a side by side, if it's not noticeable, I'll go with 60fps, if it is, 30fps all the way.
I thought 40fps vs. 30 fps would only affect the resolution?LOD, reflections, shadows and AO are toned down.
Edit - Reflections and AO too.
i watched El Analista too. basically, difference between PS4 and PS5 is just a resolution. even loading is like 11sec on PS5, which is not good really. And reflections, per El Analista de Bits. I need to check a side by side, if it's not noticeable, I'll go with 60fps, if it is, 30fps all the way.

it is clear they perfected PS4 graphics, fps and design to it.
I’m not sure… these are the differences between Fidelity and Performance outside resolution.I thought 40fps vs. 30 fps would only affect the resolution?
