Certification for console taking longer isn’t an inconvenience just because…. Hardware makers actually care a bit more about bad updates bricking your hardware or ruining saves than Steam does.

Then withhold the Steam update until the QA is done for the console. Problem solved.

It is not that hard. But with what seems like a growing number of corporate ass-kissers in gaming (in this context, among the PlayStation community), a lot of people are just going to tease others bringing it up and kick the growing problem down the road until the can can't be kicked anymore.

And by then it'll be too late.
