This is seriously crazy on a weekday
You know what I love most about all this? Some major $70 games flunked but this at $40 is killing it. It's showing that price accessibility also matters! I mean I'm sure it would have done good at $70 but I don't think just as good initially, once word of mouth spread I'm sure it still would have sold crazy.

This makes me think of Exoprimal, Capcom released it at $70 and it had a horrible launch.

yeah, it's a nice game to root for. the success of helldivers is generally good lessons for the rest of the industry. the anticheat is fucking egregious though, I will say that. especially uncalled for in a cooperative game.

Yeah I don't play on PC but I've heard it causes issues.

What exactly is the issue? Does it cause performance issues or something?

i don't notice actual like breaking issues or cpu drain or something (not saying it doesn't exist). you can just tell when the app starts, it's OLD shit. on steam deck, it pops up a stupid FAQ page before the game starts. even on windows it makes a bad first impression to see these wack, spammy looking pop ups before the game starts. I just want to press play and have the full screen game open. it's not too much to ask.

I'd almost guarantee it. Tonight it may reach almost 300k on steam alone.

They do need to fix the login limit issues. I've been waiting for like 5 min now to even get in the game.
Damn I'm about to play now, tht issue is on PC?
