COD, Fortnite and GTA are losing players moving to Helldivers. This is so good for competition. Tim Epic and COD both deserve to die.

Very happy this game is getting new players from everywhere. It deserves it.
If concord & fairgames hit even half as much as Helldivers... Sony will be a true force in multiplayer gaming landscape.
GaaS is about longevity, not initial sales, it's too soon to say even for Helldivers.

New patch and still no server capacity increases. They are really fucking with people.
The backend performance is what was holding up capacity

Yes obviously, but doing this in phases just means still work to do and/or they're not confident in upping the capacity in conjunction with this patch.
Considering how late this patch is coming, probably not looking at a server capacity increase until tomorrow morning at the earliest.

They defintley need a good content road map.
And if sony do need a big injection of players, ps plus essentials is always an option when playerbase eventually settles and sales go down.

Well the game is really well designed to get player bumps with new content and new moments
Need to defend Super Earth? Player bump
New systems open up? Player bump
New faction to fight? Player bump
Vehicle drop? Player bump
It also seems to have one of the best structures I've seen in a game for live and emergent stories eg they dropped that voice over from the creek and now everyone is fighting there.

One thing that's really smart is the game being paid. People are more likely to drop a free game than a paid one
Judging by the world map we surely going to get at least 2 more factions.
