I think people are trying too hard to force this narrative. I played the original to death and she didn’t have a gaunt face. Unless my memory is failing me.

Most pointless remaster ever but at least existing owners get a 10€ upgrade. Should be free, imo but still better than nothing.
It shouldn't be free. People worked on it obviously.
It's a simple way to bring some revenue into the studio in between games. It also suggests this Day's Gone remaster is real is the same thing, a 10 dollar upgrade.
I'm sure they were torn between the marketing of directors cut and remastered. Remastered probably sells better.
I would also be stunned if they don't bring Demon's Souls to PC and remaster Bloodborne in a similar fashion, but without the upgrade path.
It's $10 if you won the game already.. come on, devs gotta eat too
