With Breath of the Wild 2 slated to hit next year, it seems like a good time to discuss the series, expectations for the upcoming game, but also if you were in charge what would you do with the series?
Like the other recent Zelda games, BotW was divisive in that some people absolutely loved it, and some thought it was the worst Zelda game to date. I went into the game knowing literally zero about it, and fell into the camp of loving it, but I also do not want BotW 2 to essentially be ... well ... BotW 2 so to speak. Another game that does the same thing is just not going to hit the same at all, and it's just not what I want personally.
So given the history of the Zelda series, if you were in charge what would you do to keep moving it forward while still keeping it recognizable as an entry in the "Legend of Zelda" series?
Of course I hope BotW 2 comes out and presents something entirely unexpected and creative. But what are your ideas?
