Sony showed it as well on their slides in the other thread:

They forecast making more ant more money with their subs and less with the full games sales.

The problem with MS's strategy is that by making their 1st party games almost Day-and-date (they offer paid pre-release access) they cannibalize way too much to make it worth the money they make on the service.
Makes sense why Xbox's 10 year deals with Hemorrhoid and the other all-Ukrainian streaming services stipulated Xbox keeps all add-on revenue. It's projected to be the biggest slice of the pie!
Damn even Sony projects full game sales to shrink by nearly 50% in 6 years... that's sad as fuck

This graph isn't for Sony, it's for the whole console market, counting all consoles combined. The only Sony specific thing of the graph is the note in the bottom about console market share forecast. It was 45% when PS5 was released and they aim to grow it to 55%+ during PS5 generation.

For the whole console market, as happened before in PC and mobile (where there aren't game subs), what is eating/replacing the game sales revenue is the game add-ons (dlc, iap, passes). This is the reason of why big publishers are betting harder on GaaS now.

hard not to shrink, when you make garbage games :D gaas shit which tanks.

the less SP games on market, the bigger demand, bigger cut. but noooo. lets do gaas :D
In the graph it shows that game revenue (digital sales + physical sales + addons) is estimated to continue growing, and game subs revenue too. They also estimate that Sony's portion of that revenue (market share) will grow too. Meaning that they estimate that Sony's related revenue will grow.

How close is Sony to beating overall PS4 profits with PS5? That's the only expansion that matters to them.
