That's the difference between xbox fans and playstation fans. You guys are always happy, hopeful and positive.
Do you think there might be an element present in the lives of Playstation gamers, which is absent from Xbox, PC and other console gamers contributing to this less than positive sentiment in life?

Gaming is interactive entertainment and a hobby. I don't view it as anything else. I play games to enjoy them and have fun. I'm mainly an Xbox fan but im also a PlayStation fan and outside of Redfall, I haven't been disappointed from Microsoft or Sony game wise. Do the companies do stuff I don't like or agree with? Sure but as long as the games are great for the most part, there's no reason for me to be angry, mad or upset because at the end of the day, I don't run the companies so whatever they do, they do and I don't make the games so I always go into the games positively. Thus far this generation, I have completed 47 games on Xbox Series X. Out of the 47 games, 6 games were a 6.0/10 or 6.5/10, 2 games were a 7.0/10 or 7.5/10, 32 games were an 8.0/10 or 8.5/10 and 7 games are a 9.0/10 or 9.5/10. I rarely play through a game that's less than an 8.0/10 for me unless I really just wanted to play it. My backlog is 10 games through this month.

PlayStation 5 wise, I have completed 11 games thus far. 3 games were an 8.0/10 or 8.5/10 while 8 games were a 9.0/10 or 9.5/10. My backlog is 4 games through this month. Obviously, one caveat is that the vast majority of my games completed on Xbox are multi-platform and even if I played them on PlayStation 5, the rating would be exactly the same because a few extra frames or a few extra pixels isn't going to make those games better. You can give Gotham Knights and Redfall native 4K/120FPS and both games would still be a 6.5/10 and 6.0/10 respectively.

My entire point is that it doesn't matter which platform it is, I just want to enjoy and have fun playing the games. If im not, I don't go on a massive multi-year never let it go rant, I say I dropped it and why and then move on to another game.

In general, I do agree that Xbox fans are much happier because I think the majority of them just don't give a fuck about the brand being #1 or their direction or whatever the case may be where as PlayStation fans if anything care too much about all this shit that's out of their control and because of that, they let it affect them personally which in turn leads to them not enjoying games and having fun playing them.

But yet I don't see playstation fans going to Nintendo and Xbox boards to masquerade and troll.

Is that the secret to happiness?

Exactly.

Nintendo fans don’t do it either from my experience.

It’s the Xbox fans masquerading as anything but Xbox fans doing most of the trolling.

True happiness.

I think it will be a good game

That they basically poached the whole Chronicles of Riddick team made me comfortable with it being first person

I'm confused, played or watched?
I'm playing Hellblade 2 right now. The game still has its moments of visual appeal, and it's still fun to listen to the little stories from the hidden stones.

However, I'm feeling like they didn't quite do enough to distinguish it from the first game. Also, given the narrative conclusiveness of the first, the second game's story does not feel quite as compelling.

May have more to say when the credits roll.

As someone who played Hellblade 2 and wishes he could get those six hours of my life back, I'd agree with that score.
The game play left a lot to be desired. However, I absolutely loved the visuals, the story, the environment, and the enemies. I would love for them to expand on the game play for part 3 by a lot.

How did you feel about the narrative relative to the first game?

I'm feeling it's not quite as compelling, but I just hit the point in story where you return a treasured object to a large antagonist, so I'm not sure if it picks up a bit more in the final stretch.

That in indeed a reach...

If he at least tried to wrote "Xbox's answer to Uncharted" I could really understand.
Even that would be a stretch. Uncharted has proven itself time and time again.
This game has to earn respect. Its not even in the same league as Uncharted.

Uncharted = Veteran with honors
Indiana = Rookie on probation
