That place is 100% paid off by Microsoft and this confirms it. Him, Judge, Jawmuncher, Bdubbs...all of the admin and mods there are either directly paid off, compensated in various ways (like Judge being part of the Xbox Ambassador program), or are guilty by choosing to stay as admin & mods while likely knowing what involvement MS corporate have at the top.
It's not a conspiracy anymore; the fact Transistor only put such a warning up for this topic but not one for the Bungie layoffs, or the Embracer ones (which in terms of total jobs cut is probably less than or barely equal to this alone; keep in mind MS let go of others from the gaming side last year as part of the 10K layoffs too), says everything.
Honestly, once again if you're a PlayStation or Nintendo-centric fan still posting on ResetERA, you're doing so at your own risk. It's a question of IF you'll get banned there, but when. Since clearly, any criticism towards Microsoft and Xbox specifically becomes more and more off-limits no matter the context or circumstance.

But yeah, him and Parris very much have direct lines to people at Microsoft Gaming, because they are meant to perform optics control for the brand online, and be as positive and pro the division's agendas as possible. And knowing that, they probably have at least one or two PlayStation people as "controlled opposition"; think about any PlayStation-centric content creator or influencer who spends the vast majority of their time revolving PlayStation discourse around Xbox, barely plays PlayStation games, maybe used to be a massive Xbox fan previously and still plays Xbox despite supposedly disliking the brand so much...
