Jedi Survivor requires a download of actual game data for the physical release on both PS and Xbox

At least it's a single-player game so you don't have to worry about it holding your storage hostage on the long-term. You can uninstall immediately upon beating it if you need to.

But it's definitely shitty that a publisher goes through the trouble of a physical release but can't even fit the whole fucking game on the disc, or even shell out money for two discs. CD Project Red might've fumbled Cyberpunk's launch, but even they had the consideration to put the game on two discs. As did Rockstar with RDR2 and Square Enix with Final Fantasy VII Remake. There's no way one extra disc per copy is that prohibitive of a cost for fucking EA.

Not an issue, if it’s worth it it’s worth it. But here we are looking at a tech issue.
Yeah, these consoles have features that are meant to help with compression and features that load assets in ways that make duplicates unnecessary, especially the PS5. This doesn't seem like the type of game that should take up that much space.
