Its important to consider how this community can come across to an outside viewer. The nuance isnt always immediately apparent
If you have one post being critic each page that is not nuance at all.
For being a PS focused forum Iconera is very harsh to Sony and PlayStation to the point to a lot of posts and threads look as hate.
Xboxera is the opposite you only see Xbox love there.
It is a clear contrast.

I used to visit from time to time but I eventually realized it was basically an acquisition wishlist website more than an actual gaming website.
No offense to Nick, who was always friendly to me.
The members there are VERY focused on acquisitions above everything else.

People here disagree a lot with what Sony does and some could even be mistaken as Xbox fan due the harsh words to Sony, PlayStation and their games if you don't know him.
That is a very clear contrast.
There are tons of examples of Xbox fanboys behaving badly this gen like the constant campaigns to spoil PlayStation exclusives for people, harassing reviewers that give Xbox games low scores or harassing people critical of the ABK deal, and numerous other examples but this always gets ignored or downplayed.
I didn't even think about that but it's true.
Every major Sony release there are organized gangs of xbox cultists on social media trying to spoil the game for everyone. I never see that in reverse.
I meant like nobody plays their shitty games to even spoil that shit.
