... the same pattern as the green rats. that sad.None of what I said relies on "I talked to an unnamed source who told me X".

lol I'm sayingAnyone with a functional Brain could tell it was bogus. But hey... According to some here going against trusted Colin makes you a shill.
this story in general has a lot red flags. That is something I realized before and talked here… Sony marketing with Concord was near zero… lackluster.
You didn’t saw any ad on popular media
It's their own controller that they were going to sell. Do you seriously think it costs them that much money? They run a batch with a decal.this story in general has a lot red flags.
the marketing was small because they know the game was not going to hit big. but at the same time they made a special controller and have an episode in the Amazon TV show.
thats not the point... Helldivers didn't have one. It's their own controller that they were going to sell. Do you seriously think it costs them that much money? They run a batch with a decal.
im not taking a out the cost but the confidence Sony had in Concord. why a short of Concord when Sony has more IPs.... why not a Helldivers short for example. The Amazon show they don't pay for that. That's on Amazon. It's part of an anthology with tons of IPs from different publishers. Sony is not involved there.
Because Helldivers 2 was already established and would make no sense. Concord on the other hand would have benefited more from the show than a game that would have sold over 15 million by then. And there's hardly anymore story lore to give Helldivers 2 a full episode.thats not the point... Helldivers didn't have one.

so?.....sony had more confidence on Concord. that is the point.Because Helldivers 2 was already established and would make no sense. Concord is a first party game and a studio they just acquired, I'm sure they had confidence in the game before the disastrous debut. After the State of play and reactions they pretty much went radio silent on the game until it was time for the beta... Do you think Shows and controllers were made between May 31st and August 23rd?so?.....sony had more confidence on Concord. that is the point.
Probably because Astro Bot was scoring 90+ internally. aka Sony was confident Astro was going to be critical hit. and it made sense due to how it uses the dual sense (it's basically a character inside the game)Why did Astro Bot get a controller and Horizon Forbidden West didn't.
nah. When you have an agenda, everything has to fit your agenda.
Major releases get a big pushThe explanation is often much simpler. Sony hadn't really thought or executed on doing this for all their major releases.
huge releaseThe first one to get this on PS5 was God of War Ragnarok.
miles was a stand alone expansion.Same reason why Miles Morales, Returnal, Rift Apart didn't get them.
that's the pointNo one thought Helldivers 2 was going to be a major release and thus it didn't get one.
the marketing for TLoU was insaneSame reason why we didn't get one for TLOUP1
until dawn it's a low effort remake of a niche gameand why we probably won't get one for Until Dawn
It's a 6-8 hours licensed game. it's not a major release.or even Lego Horizon Adventures.
it had a strong marketingSame reasons we didn't get them for Stellar Blade
mid game.and Rise of the Ronin.
and that's the point. there are weird red flags all over this storyConcord is a first party game and a studio they just acquired, I'm sure they had confidence in the game before the disastrous debut. After the State of play and reactions they pretty much went radio silent on the game until it was time for the beta... Do you think Shows and controllers were made between May 31st and August 23rd?
There really isn't as nothing mentioned translates to huge marketingand that's the point. there are weird red flags all over this story
but that's the point. There really isn't as nothing mentioned translates to huge marketing
Easy, bad reception from the State of Play? Terrible pre-orders leading up to he beta? To the point they had to make it open to PS+ base since not enough people preordered, things were scaled backbut that's the point.
why Concord didn't had a huge marketing?
