Don't care about reviews. Gotta put 10 hours at least to make up my mind. There's a certain from software blowing from lots of reviewers and it doesn't help any of these souls likes from the competition.

What do I mean? With these games, they are always very eager to subtract points based on performance issues while leaving From Software games of the hook (typically abysmal, performance/tech wise) Elden Ring had lots of copy paste content and enemies yet, it never made a dent on the final score.

Guess from software entered that pantheon of studios/games that you can't criticize when working on games media (3D Mario, AAA Zelda, Rockstar, Naughty Dog and now From Software)

Alot of it is attributed to perf issues however thy are saying updates have come out specifically on console to fix those already. I'm jumping in, I'll let ppl know how I like it after I play a few hours.

Lmao, Xbox version shafted. Senjitsu Sage and the other screeching loonies are saying in the comments how they will never buy the game. I ask: how is that different from instances where the dev does prioritise Xbox? That fanbase doesn't buy anything!

December was wide open - only Avatar releasing that month. Somehow these devs, knowing it had strong performance issues decided they would somehow get the FromSoftware Get Out of Jail Card.

Don't work that way. The media is full of favorites and double standards. Moreover, as a rule, you should ship quality.

Game clearly could have gained a lot just by a couple months delay just so those Day 1 and 1 month patches were there in-disc this December.

They decided to release on a packed month and bear the first impressions brunt blow... 🤦‍♂️

This is going to be a very costly mistake for them. Still planning on getting it... but Lies of P plat is currently the work in progress and I'll be jumping straight to Spider-man after that so this game will fill after to tie me up till Avatar releases.

Meh played 45 mins but I can tell already it definitely is a poor man's Dark Souls. Lies of P feels more premium than this.

-graphics are Meh, look kind of washed out and cheap.
-controls/combat is fast and light but I tend not to like combat like that and prefer a heavier feel. I hate most Korean developed games because of that light no impact feel.
-controls and button inputs are not intuitive to me for example to do a kick you have to press R1 and L1 simultaneously. There isn't a dedicated jump button but have to sprint and press like square to jump (I hate that)
-stuttering and fps drops, this indeed does occur during cinematics. My son was watching and immediately said "dad why it's pausing like that"

Just a few quick insights. Game doesntt feel $70 premium, more like $30 binge buy. Feels like a AA type game. Wtf these ppl spend the budget on?

I can tell that if I continue I will be forcing myself to continue to play. Stay away for $70.

thank you for the information, and that sounds really disappointing, i had high hopes for this game
