Which should mean more reviews no?
Not exactly.

The number of reviews are more related to how many sites choose to review that game (or like @Gamernyc78 said received review codes).
Being multiplatform helps but big first-party exclusives games (PlayStation and Nintendo) ends having more reviewers than most multiplatforms.

83 reviews still 91!!!!!

115 last I counted and 91 MC still.

From what I've read of the remaining big reviews (Polygon, Kotaku, The Verge), they all sound like at least 8/10 scores. Polygon and Verge's might be 8.5s.

So, statistically, there is I'd say an 80% chance the MC stays at 91, and a 15% chance it drops to 90. But yeah I think the final MC will sit between 90 - 91 for Spiderman, which is fantastic.

FWIW Spiderman 1 has 127 reviews on MC, so I'm expecting Spiderman 2 to top out around that, maybe 130 total. But the big remaining ones are Polygon, Kotaku, and The Verge and like I said, they all sound like at least 8/10s if not slightly higher. I also did a count for how many websites put up reviews with "PlayStation" in their name and only came across 5. What's more the spread was quite large with only maybe one or two in the '90s, one of those definitely in the lower '90s.

Compare that to Starfield's Xbox reviews, where I think I counted at least 5 Xbox-named websites in the 90s alone, ALL of them 95 or above. And That version of the game only has 87 critic reviews!
