They are trying to perpetuate this belief that the deal is a "done deal" to convince others but I'm sure it is having a negative effect and will make entities such as the FTC even madder.

Also trying to make it seem with these (in bad faith) agreements that they are for the gamers.
When the CMA prefaced the Behavioural Remedies section of the Provisional Findings by basically saying "We don't like behavioural remedies in the best situations, and MS never complies with them anyway, so there's not really any chance we will accept them in this case" pretty much sealed it right then and there.

MS refusing to even consider divestiture when CMA has said that that is ALL they will agree to was MS tapping out. All of this PR bullshit is just theatre to make the idiot fanboys keep waving the ugly green flag and blaming everyone but poor little MS for the shitshow the Xbox division is.

At this point it makes me wonder if they're trying to drag out the positive news cycle to a place where they can start the next positive news cycle. Either through the June event of a price drop or a new console or a new game or something.
