If you are just talking in general terms of "corporations control what their employees create" then yes I guess you could consider that a type of censorship, but since that's not a new or unexpected issue. And that's more a separate problem than "men showing emotions is woke and a bad thing".

MS Executives seek companies like Sweet Baby Inc to provide them with a set of recommendations - not dissimilar from them seeking the help of the likes of Goldman Sachs for different subjects. Sweet Baby Inc provides them those recommendations, and they either follow or not.

I'm someone that has long defended new Drukman even tho I knew from that he was inspired by Anita Sarkeesian as far back as the first TLoU. But when the marching orders are coming from the top it completely changes it for me and becomes nothing but pure propaganda without any creative drive behind it.

That's not how business works. Companies also have financial analysts and consult the likes of Goldman Sachs. Sony has Hardware Engineers (top tier ones) and yet consulted with Mark Cerny to create the PS5.
Writers consult with alpha and beta readers for their manuscripts for example. Many well known actors use these as well as producers to ensure what they have hits a certain demographic, or is good and engaging, or simply decent enough to not embarrass themselves.

However, what you fail to understand is that these shit tier developers and / or consulting firms that create those checklists are in no way different to the people that are censoring books because they have gay characters, or denying science because of their religious beliefs. Yes. I have plenty of great games to play. I doubt From Software did any consulting with Sweet Baby Inc and if they ever do I'm out.
God of War Ragnarok for example is considerably weaker than the first game, in great part due to the much weaker writing.
