Of course we still don't know what the announcement will be, but if you want "daddy's money" you should expect to play by "daddy's rules" which is software everywhere. Limiting it to the worst performing box in the market is so asinine when you're dropping the amount of money on acquisitions. Becoming third party and software focused seems like a complete no brainer compared to the past 20+ years of failure they've been experiencing.Xbox was given complete autonomy when they were just a small piece of microsoft even if they lost millions each year. Now that MS has invested 100+ billion to it and revenue is bigger, MS heads are going to paying more attention, and that means acting like the rest of MS. Content and services truly anywhere and everywhere to maximum revenue and reoccurring service sub money. Consolidation is what xbox fans wanted, they shouldnt be upset when this was told would happen.
