My comment from gaf

Something to consider. The cma had to drop the console concerns due to ms calling them out and providing new figures thereby making the cma look incompetent.

I doubt the cma would appreciate looking silly on account of ms calling them out. This might be the cma saying “oh yeah, think you so smart, aight, Lina Khan hold my beer”.
The focus on cloud is iron clad argument for the cma, there is no way out for MS after this. The cma clapped the fuck back.

You think its possible this makes Microsoft delay their Summer games show?
It's happening no matter what but if they were counting on the ABK deal making up for their usual lackluster show, oh boy.

Showing Starfield unpolished and running at 30fps will also not go down well.

Things Sony didn't do during all this:
- Threatened the UK.
- Ran adds to pressure regulators.
- Talked shit on Japan.
- Started acting like they owned a company before it was a done deal.
Microsft/Activsion threatened regulators and implied "Asians" are taking over the games industry and theyre here to protect it from them. Theyve burnt so many bridges with this deal. Like real bridges, not the ones xbox fanboys claim where sony fighting abck is burning bridges with game developers.
