Where it’s at.
I kinda find it hard to trust the word of anyone who would directly benefit from this deal going through, especially someone from Activision. Found an article today that compared the situation to when Nvidia tried to buy ARM. They also claimed everything was fine all the esy up until talks went through. I've also read that CMA rarely changes their mind on cases like this.

It is more or less a requirement for executives to speak positively of a deal until it is officially dead, to protect the stock values of the companies involved.

That doesn't make any of what MS and Activision execs are excreting onto the media and social media any less idiotic, though.

Who are they and why does their opinion matter? Serious Question.

Bobby Kotick needs this deal to go through. He has sexually harassed almost all the staff in ABK and if he isn't allowed access to Microsoft soon, he will have to start sexually assaulting the same staff again.

My heart bleeds for him.

Allegedly
He sexually harassed almost all the staff in ABK. 😂

The man’s vigour is unprecedented.

And if Bobby and Lulu said "Fuck it, this isn't gonna happen", they'd be in much worse shape.

Wonder how it'll fair tomorrow.

Maybe if Lulu just tweets a bit more, maybe then it'll all work out.
Did she go after GOW yet? Maybe she could point to Spider-man 2 next and completely ignore that MSFT was offered it first. That sounds like a Lulu tweet to me.

I've seen some takes from digital foundry people saying that this whole ABK ordeal makes Sony look really bad, but imo they did the logical thing here. They don't really have much to lose by opposing the deal and they've already gone from the initial 3 year deal MS wanted to give them to at least 10 years by playing hardball.

Not to mention that the deal would likely have been an uphill battle with these regulators even if Sony hadn't said anything.

It makes Sony look smart. They didn’t fuck themselves by giving MS the green light to lock down all the IP ACTI owns just for a few more years of CoD.

The Digital Fuckboys are on the MS payroll and will say the stupidest shit to boost the Team Green, and it usually just makes them look like idiots.

It doesn't make sony look really bad unless you're an idiot.

That's what the remedial discussions are for, CMA hasn't set anything in stone and all parties will now be allowed to remedy and offer concessions to pass it through.

We all knew this months ago.
Y'all were expecting concessions? Yet nobody told homeboy Nutella?

Timestamped. Nadella has had a history of misjudging things. "Interesting lack of execution" - brutal.

The above sentiment is not aligning with what we're seeing from MS and ABK with regard to recent developments lol.
