They have a plant in the EC so there's a chance she'll push it through.
The EC even attacked one of the arguments the FTC was using against MS when this all started, almost like they were going out of their way to defend Microsoft. Not to mention the MS employee they are hiring basically said that "just because an acquisition involves the biggest companies in two industries doesn't mean it's anticompetitive"

So it turns out Microsoft PLANNED to make CoD exclusive until regulators started investigations hence why they are dropping them 10 year deals.

Oh, wow
I can't find the reddit post, but what it says is true. It's from the CMA final report.
i found it on era, it’s real. Lmao, this is getting juicier and juicier by the minute.

I've said it before, but I'm really impressed with the way Jim Ryan and Sony conducted themselves throughout all this. They were one of the few companies that devoted time, money, and resources to fighting this acquisition tooth and nail. Sure, the console SLC was thrown out but, as we're seeing now, MS' plans were just as bad or worse than many of us suspected. Remember all the ridiculing for how Sony wouldn't come to the negotiating table or take a ten year deal? As we're seeing now, there was a lot more at stake than just getting CoD on PS.

While other companies caved and signed those deals or supported MS, Sony took all the flak from the media and were professional about not lowering themselves to MS' level. It would seem that Sony very much understands what consolidation will mean not only for their business, but also for this hobby we all love. And I'm thankful for that.

Jim Ryan is arrogant, however the arrogance is acceptable only when you can back it up, which is what Jim Ryan is doing. He may say stupid shit sometimes, but he always delivered.
Phil Spencer is a shitty CEO and a terrible PR man, he never fucking delivered and his constant "good guy" persona never worked.

A majority of r/ps5 members are tired of reading Activision Blizzard stuff, because most of it tends to be pro Microsoft propaganda, so the mods decided only significant updates are allowed. The full report was shared already so the above is considered a duplicate.
r/XboxSeries removed it as well, though for different reasons I would imagine.
