My Opinion: Xbox should buy PlayStation and end the console wars

Hi all,

Just wanted to drop some quick thoughts about the last couple of pages on this thread so that we can hopefully steer it back to it's purpose.

We are not here to police people's opinions, unless said opinions are against our terms of service, which I advise all to review here.

Our forum was founded not just by playstation fans, but by gaming fans, first and foremost. Our Founders and Staff lists are available for all to check under the Members tab. We're trying to create a community all can enjoy and not an echo chamber where only one opinion is valid.

This thread should be the perfect representation of what we're trying to achieve - It has an opinion that may be very unpopular, but at the end of the day the staff has allowed it to be open, and has only moderated such comments (if any, I haven't reviewed) that do not comply with our terms of service. OP @Sleepy Brown is entitled to their opinion, and if you don't agree, there are two choices - Ignore it or engage in conversation.

@Craig of War , you've been very well received in this place and have a thread in Mos Eisley Cantina where people have engaged in discussion. I sincerely hope we continue to receive all people that want to be a part of this community as well as we've received yourself and others.

Finally, if anybody has concerns about a post or a thread, the report function is available for all to use and the moderation will review such content and act accordingly. The staff will make mistakes, as this project is very new, and I hope we can all continue learning from our experience so that we can consistently allow productive conversation from taking place.

This site was created for fans of all platforms, so that we can discuss openly without one side being unfairly dog piled on. If you notice on some other sites, we are being accused of being a "PlayStation Forum" with confusion expressed as to why VFX would be a fellow founder, when everyone know's he is a huge PC guy. That right there should have tipped some folk off that we are NOT a "PS forum" and that they are majorly projecting.

As long as the people in charge who set this up stay in charge, what you described should never happen. This is a free speech site for all fans. Just no attacking people or being a jerk.

If you want both Sony and MS stuff at once on one thang it called a PC cause most if not all Playstation games are coming there and Nintendo games can be play via Emulation
