Those are sub genres of SciFi, not different genres. Resistance is alternate reality SciFi like Fallout or the Man in the High Castle

All SciFi is, is what would happen if this scientific thing happened, and then exploring it to an end point. Steampunk is what if technology progressed through steam combustion, cyberpunk is the general exploration of advancing technology while greater inequality occurs, Resistance is alternate history SciFi that explores what would change if we were invaded by aliens during WW2

It's all categorized under scifi the setting doesn't matter the aliens are scifi characters there is no getting around that.
