Its a shame more people dont like it.
I really loved Socom 3 on the ps2, its one of the few ps2 games I went out of my way to get just to have an original copy.

I loved the Socom games on PS2. I just think the franchise wasn't handled with care starting with Combined Assault and then further with Confrontation.

PS3 was the wrong time for them to fumble their top Multilayer game like.

Why would a playstation fan wishing a first party ps game to be dead

It's been buried and decomposed for over a decade. Blame Sony for killing all their Multiplayer studios in 2012 - 2013
