Nothing has changed. Nintendo console buyers primarily buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games.

The biggest 3P releases will be for PS, Xbox and PC simply because the Switch 2 will be last gen hardware no matter how much people sugar coat it.

Thanks to Sony winding down on exclusivity deals Monster Hunter Wilds will probably come to Switch 2 very shortly after the console launches cutting down was sales performance the game could have on PS5 in Japan drastically down.

Only time will tell if that comment is cope. If the Switch 2 crashes and burns at launch next year then sure, it was just hope that Switch 2 would succeed.

However if the Switch 2 launches next year and breaks PS5's record of biggest console launch of all time on the 5 year Anniversary of the PS5 and the original Switch outsells the PS2 next year as well on the 25 Year Anniversary of the PS2 this place will be even more full of people point the finger at PlayStation PC ports being the reason PlayStation lost it's leadership position than it already is.
